V noci na dnešek se v Nashville v Bridgestone Arena, ve 20. hodin místního času, odehrál 44. ročník předávání cen Country Asociace. Hlavním vítězem, který získal nejprestižnější cenu "Entertainer Of The Year" - Umělec Roku, se stal Brad Paisley.

S nejvíce nominacemi přišla na finálový večer Miranda Lambert, která jich posbírala celkem devět a také si odnesla nejvíce cen. Vítězkou se stala ve třech kategoriích včetně prestižní ceny pro Zpěvačku Roku. Její radost byla o to větší, že její snoubenec Blake Shelton se stal Zpěvákem Roku.
